Coveris welcomed customers, press representatives and interested visitors from all over the world during seven exciting and successful trade fair days at Interpack. It was the first time and unique opportunity to appear united as a new global plastic packaging player and proved to be a great opening! True to the motto: “Welcome Home” – ”Every Innovation Has Its Starting Point”.
The impressive Coveris stand with open and modern architecture covered two floors, representing the size of the new combined company. The vast product portfolio of both flexible and rigid packaging was vividly presented in displays, which were divided into the different end-user and industrial markets Coveris is serving. Edwin Goffard, President Coveris Business Unit Food & Consumer Europe, summarizes: “The stand expressed beautifully our capabilities and our commitment to live up to our promise of being a leader in flexible and rigid packaging.” Strong focus has been put on recently developed innovative packaging solutions in the Group.
Visitors of the Coveris stand showed big interest in the latest technology and product innovations, such as lightweighted, easy-to-use, sustainable and long shelf-life packaging solutions with sophisticated decoration options. Breakthrough technologies like Injection Compression, TIML and NEOCELL® or the successful DuoSmart® concept are just a few examples of the recent rigid packaging innovations. There was also great demand for the various Food Service solutions.
Premade bags and pouches, linerless labels with the latest development SlidewrapTM labels and green polyethylene packaging were major fields of interest for visitors interested in flexible product applications.
