After a successful exhibition in 2015, Coveris will again display its packaging solutions at FachPack, held in Nuremberg, Germany through September 27-29, 2016.

This important annual fair for the German packaging market will host over 43,000 visitors and see developers and buyers from major food and non-food packers and retailers from all over Europe present.

Coveris will highlight innovative products that meet today’s high standards of safety, quality and sustainability for the everyday products we use. A focus will be placed on packaging solutions in co-packing of food and foodservice products.

Solutions include:

  • the Hyacinth line handle pot that is fully recyclable and up to 20% lighter than comparable products currently available; for application in dairy, produce or food-to-go
  • new solutions for meat and ready-meal packaging
  • thermoformed in-mold labeled and injection compression molded tubs for dairy and spreads that combine state-of-the-art decoration options with lightweight barrier applications
  • NEOCELL® PP films for FFS applications that provide lower weight with the performance of PS
  • the lightest tamper-evident cap on the market for dairy and beverage applications
  • package solutions for trays with reclose film and lids
  • sustainable green PE films
  • pouch solutions, as well as sealed and glued block-bottom bags that provide good on-shelf display and visibility

DuoSmart® technology will be presented as a multifunctional alternative to all food- and drink-to-go applications, such as VenDuo® for hot or cold drinks and the universal DuoSmart® line that can be produced with recycled, heat protective or structured paper and combines attractive decoration with
a thin-wall plastic inlet for better durability. Complimenting this technology, the award-winning Tri-PotTM range of pots that consist of interchangeable and transparent containers with lids and inserts for perfect display of products will also be shown.
